film om vatten där dokumentära bilder vävs samman med fiktiva
scener och animationer. Vi reser till Nya Zeeland och Grönland, två
platser belägna på var sin sida om jordklotet. På den
ena sidan är ångan det centrala elementet och på den
andra sidan är det havet, det frusna havet, isen. Som berättarröst
hör vi poeten Bob Hansson: ”Vad händer om man dör
på vintern och det är tjäle i marken? Hur begravs man
då? Får man ligga i kylskåp och vänta?"
A film about water where documentary footage is
interwoven with fiction and animation. We travel to New Zealand and Greenland,
between two places situated on exact opposite sides of the earth. On the
one side, steam is the central element and on the other, it is the sea,
the frozen sea, the ice. The narration is read by the poet Bob Hansson:
”What happens if you die during the winter and there is ground frost
– how are you buried? Are you put in a freezer to wait?
